Another extraintestinal manifestation of the inflammatory bowel diseases takes place in the liver or more precisely the bile duct system. Wich is located inside the liver. The primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) ist not actually common in case of inflammatory bowel disease. But it can have extensive consequences. Today just a short article. I really wanted to write something for you on this worl IBD day. Whoever is interested in the issue of inflammatory bowel disaese – and I suppose that`s everybody here who reads this blog – knows that today on May 19th is the world IBD day. In Germany it is “#DUbistnichtallein” which means “you are not alone”. What is this day about , what comes to my mind about the world IBD day and what can I contribute as a gastroenterologist ? And: what comes to your mind ?
